Our Story
Three friends
One clear vision
Macring was founded in 1994 by three friends — Heikki Kärpijoki, Jukka Valde and – who shared a passion for machine building and a clear vision: to deliver the best production line solutions for the sheet metal industry.
Over 30 years later, that founding spirit still drives everything we do. From our headquarters in Kaarina, Finland, we design, equip and manufacture streamlined production lines and equipment for sheet metal product manufacturers supplying the construction industry.
We work with our clients as long-term partners — not just suppliers.

30 Years of
Precision & Growth
From a three-person workshop in Karviná to 500+ projects delivered across Europe.
Macring Founded
Macring was established in Karviná, Finland, with a focus on custom sheet metal production equipment.
First Export Delivery
First complete roll forming line delivered to a customer in Sweden — the beginning of Macring’s international footprint.
Hydraulic Press Division
Macring launches a dedicated hydraulic press line division, adding deep-draw and coil-fed press technology to its portfolio.
R&D Centre Expansion
The Tampere engineering and R&D facility opens, housing full-scale prototyping, 6-axis CNC measurement, and testing design.
300th Project Delivered
The 300th complete production line — a standing seam roll forming system for a Romanian roof manufacturer.
500+ Projects & Counting
Over 500 projects delivered across 20+ markets. Macring continues to invest in factory innovation, PLC integration and after-sales capability.
